INSIDE THE PALM BEACH PRINCESS
The M/V Palm Beach Princess (IMO 6402937) was originally built
in 1964. She has
operated as a cruise ship and
as a
ferry. She spent a good
portion of her life in Europe
and the Bahamas. During
her existance, the Palm Beach Princess has also been named the Ilmatar (Finnish
Goddess Of Air and Creation), the Viking Prince
and Viking
Princess.
The ship itself has a long and interesting history. Click here
to learn the complete history of the Palm Beach Princess.
Note:
This page contains several high resolution, large size

these

Palm Beach Princess.

When
you enter the Palm Beach Princess you will be on the lower ("non smoking") casino
deck. There is a welcoming
area and the Purser's station.
After leaving the welcome room you will venture into the "non
smoking" casino on the Palm Beach Princess' lowest passenger
deck. The gambling machines
will be dark and will not be turned on until the ship
is three miles out to sea.
This picture shows a table set up near the ship's
entrance. It's used to sell cruise discount cards and for
changing passenger dining times.
If you don't like your assigned
buffet seating time, stop here to change it.
The cruise entertainment schedule
is posted on corridor walls
throughout the ship.
A traditional cruise ship "welcome
buffet" is offered while the ship is
still at dock. The Palm Beach Princess serves complimentary
coffee, tea and pasteries in the casino and in the show lounge.
Helpful cruise ship directories
can be found mounted throughout the
ship. They show your current
location and the locations of passenger
areas on each deck.
A limited number of cabins
can be found on the upper
decks. Some cabins are used as a message
spa, doctor's office and
staff offices.
A Palm Beach Princess brouchure states that a passenger cabin is
availble to couples who get married while onboard.
This picture shows a typical interior
hallway found aboard the Palm
Beach Princess. Note the light wood paneling.
One of the cruise ship
elevators found aboard the Palm
Beach Princess. It's very small. Take the stairs if you can.
Seasick bags are found in
dispencers placed throughout the ship.
It's
time to head up on deck. Click

with a look at the ship's outside
upper decks.
